What matters here
English goes a long way. Not all the way.
Many Malaysian customers are comfortable in English, so an English site is often the right start. Malay or Simplified Chinese versions earn their place for specific audiences. We help you decide which, rather than translating everything.
WhatsApp first.
WhatsApp is the default way to contact a business. We build links that arrive with context already filled in and route to the right person, and keep a form for enquiries that need structure.
FPX and DuitNow.
Online banking and DuitNow QR are everyday payment methods. We build deposit and payment flows through providers that support them, with prices in MYR.
English-led
English-led, for an international audience.
Expat-facing services, international schools, consultancies and hospitality businesses often need nothing more than an excellent English site. The detail is in speed, clarity and getting enquiries to the right person.
- Clear service, pricing and location pages
- Google Business Profile and Maps for every branch
- WhatsApp routing by location or service
- Light pages, tested on the phones customers really use
Going local
Malay and Chinese, where they earn their place.
A Malay or Chinese version is a commitment to keep two or three sites current. We scope them for real audiences and build them properly when we do.
- /ms/ and /zh/ pages with hreflang ms-MY and zh-MY
- Simplified Chinese typography and font loading done properly
- Translation by native professionals
- Contact routing by language and location
Data protection · PDPA 2010, amended 2024
Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 was strengthened by amendments in 2024, including data breach notification and data protection officer requirements. Your website’s forms and customer records sit squarely within it.
- A privacy notice in both Malay and English, as the Act expects
- Only what the enquiry needs
- Separate consent for direct marketing
- Access controls and logging for portals and customer records
We build to the requirements your business and its advisers define. This describes how we design, not legal advice or a compliance certification.

Questions
Do you have an office in Malaysia?
No. The studio is founder-led and remote on Bangkok time, one hour behind Kuala Lumpur. We agree meeting times, channels and review points at the start of every project.
Malay or Chinese: which do we need?
It depends on who your customers are and how they search. We look at your audience, enquiries and search data before recommending a second language, and sometimes the answer is neither, yet.
Can customers pay online?
Yes. Deposits and payments through FPX, DuitNow QR and cards can be scoped with the website or added later, through a provider that supports them.
Next step
Send a short note about your business, your customers and what needs to change. You will get a considered, written reply within one working day, on Bangkok time.
